Workshop: 'Energy' in FP7

A workshop on the 'Energy' theme of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) will take place on 9 March in Rome, Italy.
The event will outline the key areas to be addressed under FP7's 'Energy' thematic priority:
- hydrogen and fuel cells;
- renewable electricity generation;
- renewable fuel production;
- renewables for heating and cooling;
- CO2 capture and storage technologies for zero emission power generation;
- clean coal technologies;
- smart energy networks;
- energy efficiency and savings;
- knowledge for energy policy-making.
Participants will also hear about the role of National Contact Points, European Technology Platforms, and funding for energy research under the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP).For more information, please visit:
