The 'Clusters Linked over Europe' network is organising an international conference on regional innovation strategies for clusters, to take place on 24 April in Tartu, Estonia.

Entitled 'Regional Innovation Strategies for Cluster Internationalisation and Competitiveness', the conference will aim to provide insights and exchange information about how countries and regions can act to internationalise their clusters to strengthen competitiveness and improve their regional innovation systems.

The conference will also focus on examples of best practices from around European regions and provide a forum for discussion for experts through three sessions on:

- the CLOE network with partners from Tartu, Karlsruhe, Nottingham and Zurich presenting their regional clusters as well as activities within the network;
- the development and evaluation of regional innovation strategies with case studies from Estonia, Israel, Finland and Austria;
- the competitiveness of the Estonian bio- and medical technology sector followed by guest speakers from a variety of European countries such as Germany, UK and France.
