BioPerspectives 2007
To kick start the BioPerspectives conference, on 30 May, the German Presidency of the Council of the European Union will host another conference entitled 'En route to a knowledge-based bio-economy'. Political representatives, industry leaders and renowned scientists will present their views on the ongoing transformation of major industries through biotechnology. Moreover, a 'Cologne Paper' on the perspectives within the next 20 to 25 years will be presented.
BioPerspectives will bring together leading experts from academia and industry to address a broad range of topics. These include:
- bioinformatics;
- biomolecular engineering;
- the -omics disciplines;
- molecular medicine;
- systems and synthetic biology;
- nanobiotechnology;
- the latest developments in bioprocessing and industrial biotechnology.
