Workshop on EU and US e-health policy

A one day workshop on EU-US e-health policy will take place on 10 May in Brussels, Belgium.
Hosted by the European Commission and the US Department of Health and Human Services, in conjunction with the European American Business Council, the conference will focus interoperability, certification and improving patient safety and healthcare quality through Information Technology (IT).
High-level speakers from the EU institutions and Member States, the US Government, academia and industry will address issues related to standardisation, best practices and lessons learnt, and policy harmonisation.
Panelists and open discussions will focus on those areas where transatlantic collaboration could prove mutually beneficial.For more information, please visit:
