E-inclusion workshop

A workshop on future e-inclusion themes for the work programme of the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP) will take place on 15 May in Brussels, Belgium.
The purpose of the workshop is to bring together a number of relevant stakeholders to discuss the e-inclusion themes within the 2008 work programme for ICT policy support deployment programme (ICT PSP) - a component of CIP.
Themes to be explored include:
- overview of the ICT PSP programme;
- accessible convergent communications - total conversation;
- EU-wide assisted navigation for people with disabilities and the elderly;
- advanced technology applied to assistive devices and services;
- new services for aging well;
