Great-IST project final conference

The Great-IST project final conference will be held in Sofia, Bulgaria, on 21 November.
The event will present the Great-IST project's results and discuss the future orientation of research policy related to the information society in Central and Eastern Europe. The event will include an analysis of the regulatory approach concerning IST (Information Society Technologies), as well as the identification of research priorities, methods of implementation and lessons learned.
The conference will gather relevant experts and representatives of decision and policy makers from the Central Eastern European region with the aim of adopting a more consistent IST RTD (research and technological development) stance within the European framework.
