First Euroconference on Solid State Ionics

The First Euroconference on Solid State Ionics will be held on 11-18 September 1994 in Zakynthos, Greece. It is sponsored by the European Commission within the framework of its Human Capital and Mobility programme (DG XII).
The conference will provide an international and interdisciplinary forum covering all aspects of the science and technology of solid state ionics. The most recent scientific aspects of understanding ionic transport in solids, technological opportunities and the problems of the latest practical developments will be discussed. Emphasis will be placed on the phenomena at junctions between ionic and electronic conductors.
Applications for financial grants for young researchers (less than 36 years old) from less-favoured regions are still available.
