Leading experts from some of the world's top corporations and research institutes will set out their vision of the next-generation Internet, its enhanced interactivity, and how users, business, scientists and citizens may exploit its new possibilities, at a conference in Ottawa, Canada, on 3 October.
The conference is organised by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). Confirmed speakers include Ulf Dahlsten, director for 'emerging technologies and infrastructures' within the European Commission's Information Society and Media DG; the director of the Microsoft Research Laboratory; the deputy minister from Japan's Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communication; and the chief privacy officer from Facebook.For further information, please visit:
