Promoting innovation in Europe in the sea economy sector

An event on the best policies to support innovation in Europe's 'sea economy' sector will take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 21 November.
The programme of the event includes a speech on how to promote research and innovation activities in the sector through the establishment of specific technology clusters, and a presentation of the new 'STARNETregio' project objectives. The project will contribute to reinforcing and improving the connections among multi-sector clusters of companies and research centres - mainly located in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, in Slovenia and in the County of Rijeka - to favour the development of innovation and competitiveness in the industry and service sectors of shipbuilding, yachting, marine appliances and related logistics.For more information, please e-mail: uff.bruxelles@regione.fvg.it
