The Distributed European Infrastructure for Supercomputing Applications (DEISA) will hold a training session at the High Performance Computing Centre Stuttgart (HLRS), Germany, from 5 to 7 March 2008.

The event is intended for scientists as well as members of industrial organisations involved in high performance computing. It shall enable fast development of user skills and know-how needed for the efficient utilisation of the DEISA infrastructure.

DEISA is a European research infrastructure and links national supercomputers in a number of European countries in a supercomputing grid. Pooling high performance computing (HPC) resources, it gives scientists access to those resources for major computing challenges such as large-scale simulations.For further information, please visit:
