A meeting on 'Integrating transplantation research in Europe: perspectives for public-private partnerships' will be held in Brussels, Belgium, on 3 November.

The event is organised by the TRIE ('Transplantation research integration across Europe') project, which will come to an end in February 2009. It will give an overview of the project's conclusions and attempt to initiate discussions on future concrete actions in transplantation research in Europe.

The TRIE consortium took up its work early in 2007 with the aim of identifying opportunities and challenges in the field of transplantation research, focusing on themes common to cell and solid organ transplantation. This analysis is intended to form the basis for suggestions regarding priority actions to be implemented in order to foster the integration of research activities.For further information, please visit:
