Earth Explorer user consultation meeting, Lisbon, Portugal
The European Space Agency (ESA) is organising a consultation meeting for users of the Earth Explorer satellites on 20 and 21 January 2009 in Lisbon, Portugal.
Since the call for ideas for the next Earth Explorer Core Missions in 2005, ESA has been working on the next generation of candidate missions and is currently evaluating six Earth Explorer Core Mission concepts.
As a critical input to the decision-making process, the scientific community is invited to give its input on the candidate missions. This will lead to a recommendation from the Earth Science Advisory Committee to ESA on which mission candidates will be selected for feasibility studies.For further information, please visit:
