CiaoTech PNO and the Chamber of Commerce of Milan will host a workshop on 'Information and communication technology [ICT] and embedded systems: tools and opportunities for small and medium enterprises (SMEs)' on 11 June 2009 in Milan, Italy.
The event is comprised of several parts, including speeches by representatives of large companies on their point of view and needs, successful case studies of research projects and funding opportunities, and a time for presenting research and development projects which could participate in various calls for proposals.
The Seventh Framework Programme-funded SHARE ('Open source for embedded systems') project will also talk about opportunities for SMEs in the area of open source and embedded systems.
The aim of the workshop is to foster dialogue between large companies, SMEs, researchers and other stakeholders in order to further Italian research opportunities at the European level and better understand market trends and strategies.For further information (in Italian), please visit:
