Eighth Symposium on Neutron Dosimetry

The Eighth Symposium on Neutron Dosimetry will take place on 13-17 November 1995 in Paris. The theme of the symposium will be "Advances in nuclear particle dosimetry for radiation protection and medicine". The symposium is jointly organized by the European Commission (DG XII), the Institut de Protection et de Sûreté Nucléaire and the US Department of Energy.
The symposium will include the following research topics:
- New physical data for nuclear particle dosimetry;
- New experimental approaches to dosimetry and monitoring;
- Dosimetry for radiation protection, including area and individual monitoring and radiation field analysis at the workplace;
- Dosimetry for radiation therapy, including fast neutron, proton and heavy ion therapy.
