The European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) will hold a practical course on current methods in cell biology from 8 to 16 October in Heidelberg, Germany.

The goal of this course is to give an introduction to a broad range of state-of-the-art cell biological methods and to provide a forum which aims to illuminate challenges in the field of cell biology. A strong emphasis will be on live cell imaging methods, together with detailed modelling. The course will also show how new technologies are efficiently integrated into cell biology and how cell biology can, in turn, generate new technologies.

The course is intended for PhD students and postdocs interested in cell biology who would like to learn quantitative methods; it is also for researchers from other disciplines looking to apply their expertise to cell biological problems.For further information, please click:
