The new EU-funded project CHARISMA ('Cultural heritage advanced research infrastructures: synergy for a multidisciplinary approach to conservation/restoration') will hold a launch event on 10 and 11 December 2009 in Paris, France.

The event programme includes presentations and group sessions on the following topics:
- common research infrastructures under the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7);
- the involvement of European museums in research projects;
- lessons and best practices from EU-funded cultural heritage research projects;
- management and governance issues;
- methodological and research issues.

The CHARISMA project offers grants for access to a series of high-performance infrastructures for conducting advanced research, independently of the location of the user and of the resources.For further information (in Italian), please visit:
