'Next generation tools and platforms for embedded media applications' will be held in Darmstadt, Germany
The two-day workshop "NEMA2010 - Next generation tools and platforms for embedded media applications" covers various aspects and future challenges of embedded media application development. The aim is to present emerging applications within different domains as well as how ongoing trends in tool chain and platform research will help developers to realise them.
A second goal of the event is to bring together practitioners and decision-makers from industry and research in order to discuss requirements and challenges that next generation application development will bring about and propose how research results available today can be the basis for upcoming platforms and associated tool chains.
The workshop is conceived as the final dissemination event for the European integrated project hArtes 'Holistic approach for real-time embedded systems', which sought to lay the foundation for a new holistic (end-to-end) approach for complex real-time embedded system design.For further information, please visit:
