Final conference of the EURASNET project, Lisbon, Portugal
EURASNET is the Alternative Splicing Network of Excellence funded by the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6). The network aims to explain the mechanisms of alternative splicing and the interference with other regulatory processes; establish a communication platform among researchers; support Young Investigators to establish new research groups; and raise awareness of the importance of alternative splicing among clinicians, policy makers and the general public.
The event will include:
- Complexity of spliceosomal proteomes;
- Post-translational modification and dynamic regulation;
- Function of splicing factor isoforms;
- Genome-wide analysis of splicing regulation;
- Molecular characterization of splicing substrates;
- In silico approaches to alternative splicing;
- Mis-splicing and disease;
- Co-transcriptional mechanisms of alternative splicing;
- Chemical biology and therapeutics;
- Development of enabling technologies;
- Sharing resources, technology and reliable protocols;
- Alternative splicing database;
- Ensuring durability.For further information, please visit:
