A three-day workshop on cold regions and hydrology will be held in Innsbruck, Austria on 28-30 April 2010.
This scientific symposium will review and assess the latest developments in observation and modelling of the water cycle and runoff in areas exposed to snow and glaciers. The event will also aim to provide guidance in future data assimilation techniques, modelling and observation systems.
Organised by the Network of Climate and Cryosphere Research at the University of Innsbruck (ENVEO IT) and the European Space Agency (ESA), the event programme will include a number of presentation papers and a round table discussion. There is the possibility that selected papers will also be published in a topical journal following the workshop.For further information, please visit:
