An event on solar array regulation will take place in Noordwijk, the Netherlands on 25 to 26 March 2010.

The goal of the workshop is to give participants a forum for discussion about the methodology in selecting the most adequate power processing and regulation scheme that optimises the power subsystem architecture for a given mission. The general aim is bring together a comprehensive and common strategy in selecting the aforementioned scheme, taking into account European Space Agency, prime contractor and equipment manufacturer constraints, needs and capabilities.

Additional specific objectives include:
- establishing the major parameters and their importance in the selection process of a common methodology;
- identifying the advantages and disadvantages of proposed solutions;
- making recommendations for a future mission-based workshop discussion and lessons learned.For further information, please click:
