A conference on 'How our brain works - recent advances in the theory of brain function' will be held on 16 March 2010 in Brussels, Belgium.

The event will be comprised of two parts. The first will look at a theory which proposes a mathematical law that is close to a grand unified theory of the brain. The second half is an afternoon workshop on 'Measuring brain function - recent advances in brain imaging'.

The event is being organised by the European Parliament's Science and Technology Options Assessment (STOA) body in cooperation with the European Dana Alliance for the Brain (EDAB) and the Belgian Brain Council.
