The European Commission, DG XII, will hold a conference on "Problems and outlook for science education in Europe" on 14-15 December 1994 in Lisbon.
The conference is organized as part of the European Science and Technology Forum, set up by the Commission to promote reflection and debate on the historical, social, ethical and cultural aspects of science and technology.
The aim of the conference is to examine the situation of science education in Europe, its evolution over recent years, problems and needs that must be faced, and prospects for development.
