The Sixth Joint European Networking Conference will take place in Tel Aviv, Israel, on 15-18 May 1995. The conference organizers have published a call for papers to be presented at the conference.

The conference will address strategic aspects of open computer networking. It aims to bring together people involved in computer networking for research and education and industry. The following topics will be covered:

- Networking technology and engineers:
. High-speed networking;
. Desktop/WAN integration;
. Routers/switchers;
. Home/mobile networking;

- Support for cooperation work:
. Compound information/documentation architectures;
. Teleconferencing;
. Shared editing and shared whiteboards;
. Inter-application communication;

- Security and privacy:
. Authentication and integrity;
. Anonymity;
. Business over open networks policy issues;
. Firewalls;
. Cryptographic mechanisms;

- Providing and accessing information:
. Tools (Gopher, WAIS, WWW);
. Online services;
. Directory information;
. User support;

- Policy-related issues:
. Regional issues;
. Funding models;
. Global top-level interconnection;
. Social implications.

All papers must be written in English and should be between 2,000 and 4,000 words. Each paper should contain a 200 word abstract, two to five keywords and the full name(s) and address(es) of the author(s).
