International symposium on health and safety

An international symposium on health and safety will take place in Paris on 12-13 December 1994. It is supported by the European Commission, DG V.
The symposium will look at the decision and management process in the field of health and safety. It will address the following issues:
- How are decisions which influence health and safety taken?
- What relationship exists between decision-makers and those affected by the decisions?
- What training for decision-makers and their partners will improve collective responsibility for health and safety problems?
The symposium will comprise a series of workshops and round tables which will provide a forum for an exchange of views and proposal discussions.
