In the framework of the PRIMA (Process industries manufacturing advantage through information technology) project under the ESPRIT programme, a conference on "Information technology and its use for environmental monitoring and protection" will be held on 9-11 January 1995 in London.

The aim of the conference is to present the latest results of development projects in the field and to foresee potential application opportunities. It will be of interest to those in the process and water industries and for researchers anticipating future needs.
