Second International Workshop on Planning and Optimisation of Wireless Networks, Sheffield, UK
Wireless networks are becoming both increasingly complex and more widespread. Uses range from simple home networks that are no connected by cables to cellular phones, radio satellites, and emergency responders. Individuals and businesses seamlessly use wireless networks to send and share data rapidly, which, in turn, has opened up new possibilities.
The workshop will bring together mobile communications stakeholders (operators, telecom vendors, radio network planning and optimisation consulting firms and tool producers) and academia to present and discuss the problems, challenges, directions, and state-of-art in the fields of future wireless communication networks deployment, planning and optimization. An aim will be to build bridges between the mobile communications industry and academic research so that future collaborations between two sectors can be identified. For further information, please visit: http://www.cwind.org/OPTNet2012/(opens in new window)
