'TAUPE final dissemination event', Paris, France
The EU-funded 'Transmission in aircraft on unique path wires' (TAUPE) project has been looking at the challenges posed by the increase of the number of wires (each electric system needs a power supply and communication networks) with impacts on systems weight and space allocation. Even though the related technologies are now mature, each has its own specifications and dedicated chipset/wires architecture and is not compliant with the aeronautical environment.
TAUPE has sought to define a fully optimised avionic architecture for power and data transmission on unique path wires (mixing the aircraft (A/C) power and communication networks).
The event will feature project partners and their achievements. The aim will be to increase public awareness of the project, its objectives, industry stake in the project and results. The event is expected to include attendees from industry (mostly aeronautics, but also automotive and railways), universities, research centres and small to medium-sized enterprises. For further information, please visit: here(opens in new window)
