'20th European biomass conference and exhibit', Milano, Italy
Biomass is a renewable energy source. It can either be used directly, or converted into other energy products such as biofuel. With fossil fuel prices continuing to rise and policymakers seeking to move to more sustainable options, biomass is increasingly an interesting alternative. At the same time, it is also limited, is not sufficient for all applications, and it ranks in priority after food and feed. Other challenges include finding solutions to overcome the competition between the different methods of utilisation, identifying conversion paths with the highest degree of sustainability and bringing together bioenergy concepts with other renewable energies.
The conference provides a forum for researchers, industry and markets to exchange of information on the present state and the future possibilities of biomass. For further information, please visit: http://www.exhibition-biomass.com/
