The UK Research Office (UKRO) Annual Conference will take place from 28 and 29 June 2012 in Leeds, UK.

This event will be a chance for European liaison officers, European research managers, research councils and policymakers to network and discuss a range of different EU funding possibilities and policies.

The programme will highlight the on-going negotiation process for the Horizon 2020 proposal. The conference will open with a keynote session and continue with plenary sessions on a variety of topics:
- the latest policy and implementation issues in Marie Curie Actions and European Research Council (ERC) schemes;
- practical aspects of Framework Programme implementation;
- European research partnering initiatives (including the Public-Private Partnerships and Joint Programming Initiatives);
