'Economics on the move: trends and challenges from the natural sciences', Zurich, Switzerland
Recent insights from the behavioural sciences suggest that human behaviour largely differs from that which economic theory assumes as the foundation of microbehaviour. Some researchers have even questioned to what extent people can be assumed to be rational, informed, independent decisionmakers.
The conference will focus on the interrelation between behavioural economics, systemic risk and economic networks. Each of these topics will be discussed on a separate day, featuring various speakers and discussions. The event will also be preceded by a satellite workshop with different tracks. For further information, please visit: http://web.sg.ethz.ch/Latsis_2012/
