'International FP7 space information day', Surrey, UK

An event entitled 'International FP7 space information day' will take place from 20 to 21 June 2012 in Surrey, UK.

In the past, information events on forthcoming Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) Space Calls have in the past been organised only after the publication of the official call documentation. This year, however, an event is being held ahead of the call's announcement.

Organised by the COSMOS+ Network of Space National Contact Points (NCPs), the event has a number of objectives:
- provide advance information on the expected content of the Call;
- give a picture of the capacities of selected potential European participants;
- inform on the outlook for space research and innovation activity after 2014, through Horizon 2020;
- be an opportunity for structured matchmaking with potential project partners from around the EU and beyond;
