Training and mobility of researchers and other specific research programmes in the biomedical field

A conference entitled "Training and mobility of researchers and other specific research programmes in the biomedical field" will take place in Milan, Italy, on 17 January 1995.

The conference is being organized by the International Science Park San Raffaele in conjunction with the European Commission, the Italian National Research Council and the Italian Ministry of Research.

The conference will cover the following topics:

- New trends in health and telematics;
- R&D in biotechnology, trends in the pharmaceutical sector;
- Participation requirements in the specific programme for the training and mobility of researchers;
- New EU initiatives in pharmaceutical research;
- Standards, measurements and testing - Opportunities for biomedicine and SMEs.
