An exhibition entitled 'Research in action' will take place from 9 to 20 July 2012 in Dublin, Ireland.

Once relegated to science-fiction movies and automobile assembly lines, robots will handle more complex tasks in various industries, including health care and agriculture, according to those who spoke about the future of robotics.

Hosted by the European Commission, the exhibit will provide an insight into how robots can assist in daily life. The showcase will highlight a cross-section of research, presenting demonstrations from a range of subject areas.
