Eighth International Joint Conference on Computer Vision, Imaging and Computer Graphics Theory and Applications, Barcelona, Spain
Computer vision is a field that includes methods for acquiring, processing, analyzing, and understanding images. In general, it also gathers high-dimensional data from the real world in order to produce numerical or symbolic information, e.g. in the form of decisions. This field of research is well-known for being closely related to other interdisciplinary fields as well as for its application results, which include findings in the field of medical imaging.
Nowadays, computer vision technology can be found in numerous consumer products such as camera phones, interface on game control, parking and driving assistance in cars, as well as artificial intelligence in robotics.
The conference consists in three events being:
- GRAPP:International Conference on Computer Graphics Theory and Applications;
- IVAPP: International Conference on Information Visualization Theory and Applications;
- VISAPP: International Conference on Computer Vision Theory and Applications;
These events will bring together researchers and practitioners interested in both theoretical advances and applications within this field of research.For further information, please visit: http://www.visigrapp.org/Home.aspx(opens in new window)
