EUROBUDGET '95

A conference entitled "EUROBUDGET '95" will take place in Brussels on 23 March 1995. The event will be the seventh in a series of conferences which analyse the budget of the European Union.

The EU budget for 1995 amounts to ECU 80.9 billion. The conference will provide information on how to participate in EU-funded programmes including those under the Fourth Framework Programme for research and technological development and demonstration (1994-1998).

The conference will cover the competence and programmes of the following Directorates-General of the European Commission:

- DG I (External Relations);
- DG V (Employment, Industrial Relations and Social Affairs);
- DG VI (Agriculture);
- DG VII (Transport);
- DG XI (Environment, Nuclear Safety and Civil Protection);
- DG XII (Science, Research and Development);
- DG XIII (Telecommunications, Information Market, and Exploitation of Research);
- DG XVI (Regional Policies);
- XVII (Energy);
- XIX (Budgets);
- XXIII (Enterprise Policy, Distributive Trades, Tourism and Cooperatives).
