The 13th International Conference on Health Impact Assessment (HIA 2013) will be held from 2 to 4 October 2013 in Geneva, Switzerland.
Global challenges such as climate change, ageing populations and economic volatility have placed political systems under pressure. Health Impact Assessment (HIA) aims to address these challenges by assessing the effects of industrial activity on public health.
This conference will focus on the role of HIA in informing public policy decision-making. Sessions will be structured according to key HIA areas including practice, quality, ethics and evaluation.
