Reforming the control and evaluation procedure of EU programmes

A conference entitled "Reforming the control and evaluation procedure of EU programmes" will take place in Luxembourg on 23-24 February 1995.

The event is being organized by Prometheus with the support of the European Commission, the French Ministry of European Affairs and the Chamber of Commerce of Luxembourg. Prometheus is a European Community integration movement which seeks coherent solutions to current and future problems posed by the building of the European Union and the rest of the world.

The conference will look at the operation of all European Union programmes as well as their design and implementation. It will deal with the following topics:

- Evolution of financial control and occupational control;
- Control of funds of transnational networks;
- Administration of programmes;
- Flexibility and efficiency;
- Evaluation and controls;
- Separation of levels of control;
- Management of related programmes and complex programmes.
