The 17th International Conference on Business Information Systems will take place from 21 to 23 May 2014 in Larnaca, Cyprus.
The theme of this year's conference will be 'Big Data: problems solved and remaining challenges'. Big Data has become one of the hottest trends in recent years, in a wide variety of different areas. However there is a need to remodel technologies, applications, infrastructure and business processes in order to take advantage fully of the possibilities offered by it.
The annual conference will bring together international researchers for scientific discussions on the development, implementation and application of business information related to Big Data.
