The European Congress of Obesity will be held from 28 to 31 May 2014 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
As the number of people suffering from obesity continues to rise rapidly around the world, there is increasing concern within the European Union and WHO Regional Office for Europe about obesity and its co-morbidities such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease and cardiometabolic risk and prevention. The European Congress on Obesity (ECO) provides an essential platform for discussion on the latest scientific developments in the field.
Clinicians, scientists, allied health professionals, opinion leaders and advocacy groups are taking part in the Congress, which has been running on annual basis since 1988.
