Research opportunities for railway industry within the Fourth Framework Programme

A seminar entitled "Research opportunities for the rail industry within the Fourth Framework Programme" will take place in Sheffield, United Kingdom, on 7 March 1995. It is organized by the Advanced Railway Research Centre and the Department for Enterprise of the United Kingdom's Department for Trade and Industry.
The event will examine a number of topics of interest to the rail industry including the specific programme for transport and the specific programme for industrial materials and technologies (BRITE/EURAM III) under the Fourth Framework Programme for research and technological development and demonstration (1994-1998).
The presentation on the transport programme will be given by Mr. Simon Mordue of DG VII of the European Commission who will outline the scope of the programme and application procedures.
