Conference on Municipal Energy Management

A Conference on Municipal Energy Management will take place in Kassel, Germany, on 3-4 May 1995. It is organized in the framework of the THERMIE programme for energy efficient technologies (DG XVII), in collaboration with members of the OPET network (RARE, EUROPLAN, ZrE, ICAEN, MARCH) and the Brandenburgische Energiespar-Agentur.

Municipalities and their local policy are a key factor in improving the importance of energy efficient technologies. The aim of the conference is therefore to present the possibilities for municipalities to improve their energy management, conservation and consumption.
