Training course on R&D programme evaluation

The Centre for Studies of Science, Technology and Society (CSWTS), and the Centre for Advanced Education (CAE) in the Netherlands are organizing a training course on "R&D programme evaluation" at the University of Twente, the Netherlands. The course will be held at the Drienerburght, University of Twente, on 22-24 May 1995.
The course, consisting of lectures and case-studies, will provide an overview of R&D programme evaluation, in the context of the following subjects:
- Emergence of strategic R&D and the importance of programme evaluation;
- Design of an R&D programme evaluation;
- Output identification and measurement;
- Networks as a focus of evaluation;
- Use of technology indicators.
