ENERLAC '95: Second Energy Conference of Latin America and the Caribbean
The conference, subtitled "Energy and development in an interdependent world", will examine energy with regard to its supply and efficiency, and its environmental role. In particular, the following activities will take place:
- Lectures by leaders of public opinion in the energy, political, economic and financial fields;
- Panels/round tables on:
. Investment opportunities provided by the countries as a result of their processes of opening up and liberalization;
. Available technologies, their costs and incorporation into the region's energy industry and specialized engineering services to achieve higher levels of energy efficiency and environmental protection;
. Aspects of energy supply financing;
- Industrial Technology Fair presenting products and services of companies that supply the energy sector;
- Business meetings to learn about and promote projects and/or businesses that foster the region's energy development;
- Commercial presentations on specialized products and services offered by leading energy sector companies;
- Technical tours.
