Patents, innovation and invention: PATLIB '95

The European Patent Office (EPO) will hold an exhibition on patents, innovation and invention, PATLIB '95, in Luxembourg on 15-17 May 1995.

The aim of the event is to present the possibilities offered by patents for successful innovation and invention, in conjunction with an exhibition on the latest information technologies available (hardware, software, commercial search services, databases, CD-ROMs, laser printers, etc.). In addition, the most successful companies in Luxembourg will demonstrate their protected inventions.

The following sessions will take place:

- Introduction to activities in Luxembourg;
- Technology watch - Theory and concepts;
- Technology watch - Practical case study;
- EPO online and CD-ROM software;
- EPO/EIDOS products, services and developments;
- Before and after patents;
- Reports on EPO activities.

The CORDIS CD-ROM will be available for a hands-on demonstration at the exhibition.
