The event is being organized by EUREKA and is intended to generate trans-national EUREKA as well as EC projects in which companies and research institutes work together to find biotechnological solutions for specific environmental problems.The event will cover the following specific areas:- Biotreatment and bioremediation of water, soil and solid waste;- Biodetection and biomonitoring;- Biopolymers, -fertilisers and -pesticides.The aim is to provide a platform in which interested participants can exchange ideas and information on new developments, products and processes and find potential business partners to set up and finance R&D and demonstration projects.
