The Institute of European Trade and Technology (IETT) is organizing two one-day workshops under the title "How to prepare successful proposals and win contracts in Central and Eastern Europe and the CIS". The workshops will take place, in London, 23 October and 17 November 1995.

The objective of the workshops is to help organizations improve their chances of success when tendering for projects in Central and Eastern Europe and in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

The workshops will concentrate on how to research, prepare and submit written proposals to PHARE, TACIS, the Know-How Fund, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and other aid programmes for this area. They will include presentations by experienced contract winners and assessment of proposals by experts.

They are aimed primarily at: senior development managers and directors of training; project coordinators; and previously unsuccessful proposers from a wide range of companies and public and private sector organizations (including universities and colleges, local authorities, consultancies and SMEs).
