A seminar entitled "How to be a coordinator" will take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 16 October 1995. The seminar, organized by DG XII of the European Commission, is aimed at persons considering becoming a coordinator of a standards, measurements and testing (SM&T) project and who need help in clarifying the requirements of such a task.

The aim of the Commission's specific research and technological development programme in the field of standards, measurement and testing (1994-1998) is to provide research and technical support for the continued institution of harmonized systems of measurements, reference materials and written standards.
