International workshop on the effects of UV-B radiation on the biosphere

An international workshop on the effects of UV-B radiation on the biosphere will be held in Wageningen, The Netherlands, on 14-17 December 1995.
The workshop, which is supported by DG XII of the European Commission, will give an overview of the latest findings with regard to the effects of UV-B radiation on the biosphere.
Topics to be covered at the workshop will include:
- UV-B and aquatic ecosystems;
- UV-B and terrestrial ecosystems;
- UV-B and physiology of terrestrial plants;
- Interaction of UV-B radiation with other environmental factors.
