The European Commission, DG XII, has published a list of "Euroconferences", scheduled for 1996. "Euroconferences" may comprise a series of conferences. The list below provides the series title and, where this differs from the series title, the separate conference titles. The name and facsimile number of the series coordinator is also given and, where applicable, that of the specific conference contact person. Organizers of Euroconferences have been provided with funds, under the European Community's Human Capital and Mobility programme, to support the participation of a limited number of young researchers. Researchers (generally up to age 35) must be citizens of the European Union or researchers working long-term in an EU Member State. For some conferences young researchers from all the countries of the European Economic Area are also eligible.
