The event will be held in London, UK, on 18-19 April 1996 and will concentrate on the business benefits which can be gained from product data technology (PDT). The event is being sponsored by Shell, the European Commission and the PDT Advisory Group, which is an ESPRIT accompanying measure.European PDT Days are organized annually and provide an opportunity for the business, industrial and scientific communities to report on, monitor and discuss the rapid progress made in PDT methodologies and industrial/commercial applications.The 1996 event will aim to raise awareness within industrial and commercial enterprises of the business advantages which can be achieved by adopting and using modern PDT methods, and to share experience on how measurable benefits can be realized.The event is aimed at managers, developers, project engineers and electronic data technologists who are involved in developing and introducing technologies, such as concurrent engineering, STEP, BPR, EDI and other product data dependent business innovations.
